After graduating from WU Wien and spending a couple of years in Investment banking, Hans-Peter moved to Malaysia in 2012 and
co-founded Lazada – Southeast Asia’s largest e-Commerce company and online shopping mall.
In 2016, Chinese Alibaba Group – one of
the leading global e-Commerce and technology companies – acquired a majority stake in Lazada and further increased
its stake in 2017 at a valuation of USD 3bn, one of the top 3 tech exits in SEA at that time. During his time at Lazada,
Hans-Peter held multiple country & regional roles incl.
CEO Lazada Malaysia and Chief International Officer Lazada Group, having overseen all functions across the entire value chain and witnessing the company growing to a USD 5bn company with more than 6,000 employees.
After leaving Lazada at the end of 2018, Hans-Peter started his next entrepreneurial journey with Momentum Commerce,
a global e-Commerce solution provider for brands & SME’s.
